The Senior Data Engineer will help develop and implement strategic data initiatives. They will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, implementing technical solutions/algorithms, and developing and maintaining data pipelines.

***This position requires candidates to currently reside in the United States and possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship***

Essential Functions

• Develop and support data pipelines within a Cloud Data Platform, such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Analyze data to identify statistically significant trends and provide insights to support decision-making
• Develop and maintain reports to be used in strategic planning sessions
• Continuously improve existing strategic planning tools by incorporating feedback from stakeholders and identifying areas for optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of new strategic initiatives
• Manage multiple projects that support identified strategic initiatives

Education Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Preferred Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field

Experience Qualifications

• Preferred 5+ years of experience in a related field

Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, R, or SQL
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake Cloud Data Platforms
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Understanding of business financials and NPV analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Creative thinker that is open to working collaboratively with a team
